Ivy Sun is an artist, designer, and puppeteer who dwells in a realm of imagination and fiction, expressing herself through her paintbrush and wood carving tools. Her work delves into the realm of storytelling, blending interactive elements with visual languages. You can find her name in the credits of the 2022 Fall Mainstage Production She Kills Monsters and the 2023 Fall Mainstage Production Twelfth Night as the stage manager, the 2024 Spring Mainstage Production Eurydice as a work-study in the costume shop, and in Duke Chinese Theater’s 2021-2024 productions, where she served as the president, executive producer, and artistic and technical director. Under the guidance of Professor Torry Bend, she directed and designed her own puppet performance, Bloom in Rust.
