THEATRST 145S

Spring 2024 News

Reserve caps are in place for all sections of THEATRST 145S Acting. Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and First-Years may register within these caps, space permitting.

Acting 145S explores the craft of acting as an experiential and embodied knowledge through collaboration, imagination, play, and attending live theater. The course engages culturally diverse approaches to the practice while facilitating an introduction to voice and movement; monologue and scene work; audition preparation; and a creation of a dramaturgical toolbox to aid students in future classes and productions.

Notes

Please note that THEATRST 145S Acting can satisfy either the Gateway requirement of the Theater Major, or its Area 1: Acting, Directing requirement, but not both.
