The internationally celebrated Austin, Texas theater collective Rude Mechanicals have been delighting audiences with what they describe as a “genre-defying cocktail of big ideas, cheap laughs, and dizzying spectacle” for seventeen years.
Engagement Information
The Rude Mechs met with beginning and advanced acting classes, engaged in a discussion with students interested in arts entrepreneurship, and met with scientists at the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center (NESCent) in downtown Durham to discuss the biological themes of their performance piece.
