Isa is graduating with a (first and only!) major in Theater Studies and minors in Computer Science and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. In her time at Duke, she was on the Duke Players Executive Council for three years, as Membership Chair and later as President/Executive Producer. She acted in Theater Studies mainstages Medea (Spring 2021), She Kills Monsters (Fall 2022), and her favorite, Rent (Spring 2023), and staged managed Twelfth Night, or What You Will (Fall 2023). She acted in Duke Players shows Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. (Fall 2021) and Sugar at Four in the Morning (Fall 2023), and produced and designed lights and costumes for Last Summer at Bluefish Cove (Spring 2023). She wrote an original play for her Senior Distinction called Do I Know You? under the wise and thoughtful guidance of Professor Neal Bell. Her favorite part of Duke theater was the inclusive, inspiring, creative community and seeing everyone’s beautiful faces every Tuesday for Drama Free Donuts. She has learned so much from all of her professors, and wants to especially thank Jeff Storer, her advisor, for all of his advice and support.
