Class of 2025: Sydney Ariane Maynor

Sydney Maynor
Bio

Sydney Maynor is a senior from North Carolina majoring in Theater Studies and Psychology. During her time at Duke, she has been honored to perform in Duke Players' The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily) and Last Summer at Bluefish Cove (Sue), Theater Studies Mainstages Twelfth Night (Maria) and The Liar (Lucrece), and in her Graduation with Distinction project Every Brilliant Thing. Outside of theater, she is involved with Duke's Korean American organization KAjok, Duke Helping Hands for Alzheimers and other Neurological Disorders, and Duke Asian American Theatre. After graduation, she plans to attend UNC Chapel-Hill to pursue a Master in Social Work (MSW), potentially returning to acting in the future. She is grateful for all of her incredible memories with the Department of Theater Studies.
