Bio
Jack will be graduating with a double major in Public Policy and Theater Studies, along with a minor in Environmental Sciences and Policy. During his time at Duke he was very active in Hoof 'n' Horn appearing in Into the Woods (The Witch) and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Frank n' Furter), for which he was awarded Outstanding Breakout Performance by Chatham Life & Style. He also served on Hoof 'n' Horn's executive board, directing their 24-hour musical Legally Blonde in his senior year. Studying abroad at the University of Glasgow in his junior year, he was glad to play to role of Nick Diablo in Disco Inferno. With the Department of Theater Studies he enjoyed performances in New Works Lab's Laurel Canyon: The Musical, GOOD, and the Mainstage production of RENT. His senior year has been busy producing, staging, choreographing and performing as Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, in completion of a Theater Studies Independent Study, supervised by Professor Ryan Donovan. He is grateful to have been awarded the 2024 Kevin Gray Musical Theater Award. He would like to thank all of his Theater Studies faculty, especially Professor Jeff Storer, and the entire department for their help, support, and guidance.
