Steve Kovacs is in Washington DC serving as a Digital Services Expert in the United States Digital Service, President Obama's "startup in the White House." He is embedded in the Department of Education, working on problems in the student loan debt space. Before that, he was a freelance product manager and developer in San Francisco.
