Richard Maxwell is developing an idea for an installation requiring actors to play members of staff in a working restaurant. The performance, which will involve his written text, will be based in a gradual loosening up of norms until it returns to an empty room. A showing will occur at the end of his two-week residency. Participants need to commit for the entire two weeks. Maxwell would also welcome an assistant.
