Molly Forlines (T’13)

Summer 2014 - Molly (T’13) stayed in Durham the past year working with Jaybird O’Berski on a few shows and acting in The Man Who Was Thursday and Amadeus. Now she’s living in New York City, going back to school for premed and also attending the Michael Howard Studios one year acting conservatory.

Kana Hatakeyama (T’10)

Summer 2015 - Kana Hatakeyama (T’10) was in two web series this past year, Hey Yun Season 2 (Wifey.tv, created by Hye Yun Park) and her own ridiculous satirical series called Emily Lip Synx.  In June she will be acting in Series C of Ensemble Studio Theatre's 35th Marathon of One-Act Plays, and then will be in a workshop of Tommy Smith's Boyfriend at the LAByrinth Theater.

Jamie Kaye-Phillips (T’10)

Summer 2015 - Jamie Kaye-Phillips (T’10) is currently an above-title co-producer of An Act of God, the new Broadway comedy starring four-time Emmy winner Jim Parsons ("The Big Bang Theory"), written by 13-time Emmy winner David Javerbaum ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"), and directed by two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello (Wicked, The Normal Heart). He also recently co-produced the Tony-nominated revival of The Elephant Man starring three-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper ("American Sniper," "Silver Linings Playbook").

Katie Lee (T’08)

Summer 2013 - Katie Lee (T’08) left Senator Richard Lugar's Foreign Relations Committee staff in September after four years to work on the policy team for InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based NGOs that do international development and humanitarian work.

Will Sutherland (T’11)

Summer 2013 - Will Sutherland (T’11) is beginning his third summer in Chicago.  He works with Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago managing the receiving of property for Leslie Hindman, ensuring the items are properly handled, stored, and processed for sale.

Kimberly Welch (T’13)

Summer 2015 - Kimberly Welch (T’13) is working on her PhD in Theater & Performance Studies at UCLA (about to start her third year). Her research focuses on the intersections of performance, homelessness, and incarceration, and former Duke faculty member Sean Metzger is her advisor.

Summer 2013 - Kimberly Welch (T’13) is doing ethnographic research in Kampala, Uganda on the relationship between performance and the education of women in Kampala this summer. She starts the Ph.D. Program in Theater and Performance Studies at UCLA in September.

Kevin Wu (T’11)

Summer 2013 - Kevin Wu (T’11) took a year to travel after graduation, visiting 22 different countries before moving to LA in the fall of 2012. He’s made his living as a freelance filmmaker, and he’s directed a TV pilot presentation, co-directed a short, and been in several interviews to direct web series, commercials, music videos, etc. His stage combat with Jeff. A.R. Jones has come in handy a number of times as well. He played the role of a thug in a music video where he fought Batman, Robin, and Nightwing.
