Winter 2008 - Talya Klein (T’02) is busy working as a writer and director, splitting her time between NY and LA. In addition to spending her free time on the WGA picket line, Talya will be directing the West Coast Premiere of Rinne Groff’s Orange Lemon Egg Canary playing at LA’s Theatre Row February through April, 2008. Summer 2014 - Michael graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in May of this year. He graduated in the top 10% of his class, and was awarded membership to Alpha Omega Alpha, one of the highest honors a student is eligible for during his or her four years of medical school. He also won three other awards: The Seymour L. Kaplan Scholarship, awarded for academic achievement and excellence in citizenship, The Donald M.

Summer 2014 - Dana just completed a run of the regional premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Seminar at The Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, NY. She recently had a role in Elementary on CBS, opposite Lucy Liu, and performed in the play Streepshow! Episode 1 at Ars Nova in NYC in June. Last summer she performed in the world premiere of The Capables, as well as the first NYC staging of Dion Boucicault's The Poor of New York since 1931.

Summer 2015 - Marshall Botvinick (T'06) just completed his first year as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Theatre at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In May of 2015, Palgrave Macmillan published his book Jonson: Volpone, and he is currently editing a collection of essays about Ben Jonson for an upcoming book to be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. 

Summer 2015 - Nicholas de Wolff (T’92) spent 2014 building a digital storytelling ecosystem in the State of Oregon.

Summer 2015 - Alec Duffy (Trinity '98) appeared at the OBIE Awards in May to receive the OBIE Grant on behalf of his three-year old multi-disciplinary performance venue, JACK (named after his grandfather), in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The OBIE Grant is given each year to an outstanding emerging arts organization/venue. 

Winter 2023 - Russell Hainline is a screenwriter in Los Angeles. His credits include WEB OF LIES (2018), IN MERRY MEASURE (2022), and the upcoming film THE SANTA SUMMIT (2023).

Summer 2015 - Charles Randolph Wright (T’78) stopped by Duke and met with students when the show he directed, Motown The Musical played the Durham Performing Arts Center. The West End production of the musical will open next February in London.

Summer 2011 - Brian Charles Rooney (T'99) received the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of legendary Andy Warhol "superstar," Candy Darling, in the world premiere of Pop! at Yale Repertory Theatre. He reprised the role at City Theatre in Pittsburgh (Spring 2012), co-starring with Anthony Rapp as Warhol.

Summer 2015 - Adam Smith (T’98) is currently starring in the LA premiere of David Ives' The Heir Apparent at International City Theatre in Long Beach. Last month, he starred in the world premiere of a beautiful new play, Untethered by Julia Edwards, which was performed inside a mausoleum to great acclaim. And in April, he returned to the Antaeus Company in Henry IV, Part 1 with a wonderful cast. He also had a small role in the film Taken 3 alongside Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, which hit theaters earlier this year.
